Preventive Maintenance Chart
STAND-UP VACUUM
Daily Maintenance
Start of each use
After full charge, check
batteries and, if needed,
add distilled water. (Wet
cell batteries only)
Plug battery pack into
machine. Close rear cover.
Open console cover,
check that bag and filter
are properly installed.
Check that side brush is
securely attached.
Check vacuum hose and
connection for leaks.
Make sure brushes and
debris tray are installed
correctly. Brush cap
indicator lines should be
vertical and brush door and
debris tray spring clips
secure.
End of each use
Maintenance and repairs must be
done by authorized personnel only.
Batteries emit hydrogen gas.
Explosion or fire can result. Charge
batteries in well-ventilated area.
Keep sparks and open flames away.
Keep rear cover open.
Wear eye protection and protective
clothing when working with
batteries.
Remove and clean
brushes. Check yellow
PerformAlert™ indicator
for brush wear.
Empty and clean the
debris tray.
Check hose for debris
buildup
Open console cover.
Check if bag is full. If full,
remove and dispose.
Pull rear cover open to
expose bag storage. If no
bag is present, place one
bag in slot.
Disconnect battery pack
from machine. Plug
battery pack into charger,
then charger into wall.
Recharge batteries only if
machine has been used 30
minutes or more.
Remove bearing cap from
brush and clean bearings and
cap.
