PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Vacuum motor does not run, or
runs slowly
Faulty vacuum circuit or switch Check wires & connections
Worn vacuum motor brushes Replace brushes, check commutator
Vacuum circuit breaker tripped Reset circuit breaker
Vacuum and brush do not turn on Circuit breaker tripped Reset
Full bag or clog in system (bag full light
on)
Replace bag, empty debris tray, check
for and remove clogs
Poor vacuum performance Debris caught in system Remove debris
Low battery charge Charge batteries
Lid is not closed correctly Close and latch lid correctly
Faulty gaskets inspect and replace gaskets
Accessory hose is not sealed shut. assure hose is tight in hose holder
Bag or debris tray are full Empty tray, replace bag
Vacuum diverter valve not actuating Check for debris
Check electrical connections
Check timer circuit board
Brush motors do not run, or runs
slowly
Circuit breaker tripped Reset circuit beaker
Low battery charge Charge battery

Replace bag, empty debris tray or
remove clog.

Clear foreign objects from broom that
inhibit free motion, replace fuse.
Brush door won’t close
Cylindrical brushes not installed
correctly.
Align brushes to drive shaft assem-
blies, close door.
