Software Update Process
Software update, if any, will be notified on home screen with a red label on the “Settings”
icon.

To start the update process:
- select « Settings » item from home screen,
- then select “Download” item
- Download will start automatically and will last for about 30mn. Susequently, the device
will reboot automatically until “Homescreen” is displayed and announced.
Please do not use SmartVision when the download is in progress.
You must have data connection, Wi-Fi or 3G enabled to download the software update.
Because of important size of this update (about 1GB), we recommend to use the Wi-Fi
connection for downloading.
SmartVision regularly checks the availability of updates and you will be notified automatically.
However, you can manually check the availability an update from "Settings" menu, then
select « About phone”, and finally select “System update”.
SmartVision System improvements:
- Overview:
o Bug fixed and stability improvements
o Translation fixed and improved in Italian and Netherlands versions
- Accessibility:
o Speech speed increased for "very fast" level.
o Improved vocalization of specific elements such as announcement of input
fields, lists and grayed (non selectable) items.
o Vibration feedback on selectable items: when “explore by touch” mode is
enabled.
