Furthermore, the reader is fitted with a buzzer which, in addition to the LED, indicates successful booting
(1 x short) or an error (2 x long)

When the connections are plugged in, the device satisfies the protection class IP67.
Selecting the Installation Site
WARNING
Danger to life from electric shock or fire hazard due to incorrect voltage, insufficient ventilation,
moisture, direct sunlight, heat or naked flames!
Ź When installing the unit in cabinets or shelves, make sure there is sufficient ventilation.
Ź When selecting the installation location, make sure there is sufficient space around the unit
for appropriate dissipation of the heat generated by the unit.
Ź Do not expose the unit to inadmissible heat or fire.
Ź Do not install the device close to the sources of heat, e.g. heating.
Ź Do not place anything with a naked flame on the device.
Ź Make sure that the maximum operating temperature from –20 to +55°C is not exceeded.
Ź Make sure that the support surface has a sufficient load-bearing capacity/strength.
