Lane Port Module (LPM)

Function

Provides 8 serial interfaces between the LCs and

CTM. When a reader is initially ordered it can be

configured as RS-232 or RS-422 serial connection. It

is not field switchable.

Connections

The Reader can send real-time OBU transactions to

the LCs via the eight serial ports on the LPM. The

LC can also update the Reader configuration via

these ports.


