4.2 Create password

Situation: The Supervisor has just added your name to the User list and this is the first time you have ever

attempted to log in to the system. When the log in box is displayed, you may type your log in name in the User

ID box and leave the Password box empty.

• Click on the OK button. You will then be prompted to create a password.

• Click on the OK button. The "Create Password" dialog box appears.

• Type the new password into the

"New Password" field. Type the

new password once more into the

"Verify Password" field.

• Now click the OK button.

• The new password must be used the very next time that you log into the program.

Notes:

• You must have a password in order to perform any programming or reading of tags.

• To change your password refer to "Change Password".

Invalid characters

are typically

"spaces".

Any upper or lower

case characters

including numbers are

allowed.

IMPORTANT…

The user ID and password are case

sensitive. You must remember and use the

exact typing as was originally entered and

accepted by the system.
