Typical applications
Suspended Elements
Radiators, toasters, convection heaters, hair dryers.
Wire or ribbon may have elastic or fixed suspension.
Elastic: Wire kept straight by springs when heated.
Fixed: Operating temperature is lower and low thermal expansion is advantageous.
