B. Safety feature and environment-friendly operation
The cooking plate switches off automatically if it detects an abnormal temperature rise of the
pan or electric fluctuations.
The heating surface of the plate is made of heat-resistant ceramic. Therefore, the plate has a
very good isolation: if food splashes or overflows, this will not damage the plate.
Contrary to gas cooking or other cooking methods, induction cooking, which does not
produce flames or smoke, considerably reduces the dangers and risks of accidents that are
commonly associated with other cooking methods. This way, the induction cooking plate may
be considered environment-friendly.
MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning.
Wipe the appliance with paper towel or a dry cloth.
Never clean the appliance with abrasive products, as these would damage the housing.
Never clean the plastic parts with products containing benzene. Clean them with a dry
cloth.
Never clean the appliance with water. Never immerse it in water or any other liquid.
Make sure not to scratch the surface of the ceramic plate with cooking utensils.
Clean the plate completely before storing it at a dry place.
Clean the ventilation openings with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner at low suction
power. Never put any objects through these openings.
