USING THE CHOPPER (motor unit, chopper and bowl)
Ensure that the unit is unplugged.
First place the blade in the bowl.
Add ingredients to the bowl. Some hard foodstuffs (e.g. carrots, cheese and meat) will
need to be chopped before being put into the bowl. DO NOT OVERFILL THE BOWL.
Insert the opening of the lid in the bottom of the motor unit. You should place the symbol
▼ on the motor unit in front of the opened padlock on the lid and then screw the lid to
the motor unit, so that the closed padlock ends up in front of the symbol ▼. Then pull
lightly on the lid to ensure that it is fully tightened onto the motor unit.
Place the lid on the container respecting the positioning of its openings-out. If necessary,
turn the lid until it is correctly placed on the container, then make it turn very lightly. Check
the locking of the lid by pulling on it lightly.
Plug the unit into a suitable mains socket.
Hold the bowl securely with one hand, and the motor unit with your other hand.
Press the on/off button.
NEVER remove the motor unit and lid of the chopper from the bowl until the blade has
stopped spinning.
Only use the lid of the chopper, blade and axle unit in the bowl provided.
USING THE WHISK (motor unit, whisk body and removable stainless steel whisk)
Screw the whisk body onto the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. You should
place the symbol ▼ on the motor unit in front of the opened padlock on the whisk
body and then screw it to the motor unit, so that the closed padlock ends up in front of
the symbol ▼. Using gentle hand pressure only ensures that the whisk body is fully
tightened onto the motor unit.
Insert the whisk into the whisk body, making sure that it is tight.
Press the on/off button.
Do not touch the whisk while it is moving.
