If, shortly aer setting o or during a
journey, the le-hand LED blinks briey
and then all LEDs ash, this means that
one of the problems described below is
present:

Spoke magnet has
slipped out of po-
sition
Make sure the spoke
magnet has not slipped.
It should be as close as
possible to the sensor on
the chain stay (max. 5 mm
clearance).
Speed sensor
defective
Have your specialist cycle
shop check and, if
necessary, repair it
Cable connection

Have your specialist cycle
shop check and, if
necessary, repair it
No connection
between motor unit
and battery
› Connect the battery to
the charger

Only on Pedelecs with back-pedal brakes:
If the le-hand LED begins to ash with a
long ash, followed by short ashes om
all LEDs, this means that you must carry
out the system check for correct nction
of the switch for operating the back-pedal
brake again or that the pedal positions
were not recognised correctly. In this
case, move the pedals forward once and
then back once, until you can feel some
resistance. If the ashing signal disap-
pears you can ride o normally. If the
ashing signal continues, you can ride as
if you were riding a bike without power
assist. Have a specialist dealer check your
error message and recti the problem.
5 LCD display
5.1 Control panel
The control panel on the handlebar grip
features four or ve buttons (depending
on the model). The LCD display is located
in the middle of the handlebars, in other
words in the centre of the rider’s eld of
view.
On the right-hand side of the control
panel is the ON/OFF button. Press once to
switch the system on and press a second
time to switch it o.
The arrow buttons used to control the
level of assistance are located on the le-
hand side of the control panel.
The “Set” button is located between the
arrow buttons. It can be used to request a
variety of displays.
If the model features pushing assistance,
the switch for this will be on the under-
side of the control panel.
