To provide you puppy or
kitten with the soothing
sound of a mother’s
heartbeat, turn on the
heartbeat device. Install
the heartbeat device
into the pocket near the
embroidered logo on the
crate pad. See Figure 1.
Close the pocket securely.
Insert the crate pad into
your puppy’s or kitten’s
crate or kennel before a
nap, before bed at night,
or while you are away.
The K&H Mother’s
Heartbeat Crate Pad
will help provide soothing
comfort similar to that
of your young pet’s
maternal mother.
Instructions for Operating Mother’s Heartbeat Device:
• Remove included batteries from packaging and install into the
heartbeat device.
• Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn ON the device.
• Once turned ON, the device will shut OFF automatically in 8 hours.
• Place the heartbeat device into the pocket of the crate pad and
close the pocket.
• Use the heartbeat device and crate pad to soothe your young pet
and to help it sleep.
• While in the ON mode, press and hold for 3 seconds to manually
turn OFF the device when not in use.

Our warranty is as follows: K&H Pet Products warrants to the original consumer, that this
product will be free of defects and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of
purchase. The manufacturer’s liability hereunder is limited to replacement of the product. This
warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect,
tampering, or other causes not arising from defects in material and workmanship.
To exercise your warranty: If, during the warranty period, your product malfunctions,
return it to the place of purchase with your original purchase receipt. If this cannot be
done, return the product, postage prepaid, to K&H Pet Products, with a dated proof of pur-
chase or original date receipt. A return authorization number can be obtained by calling
[phone] and must accompany all returns to manufacturer. Please include a note
explaining the problem when returning the product.
