Thank you for purchasing the 4 Story Hangin’ Cat Tree by K&H Pet Products.
Proper care and adjustment should lead to many years of pleasure for your cat.
Take the product out of the box and lay all parts on a at surface.
You should have four metal brackets, rubber bumper/spacers, and a
4 Story Hangin’ Cat Tree frame with built-in straps. See Figure 1.
Before installing the top two door brackets, rst determine whether
you will need to use the bumper/spacers provided for the type of door
you will be using. Our unique door bracket system is made to t virtually
any standard household door. For most thicker exterior doors, i.e., front or
back door of a home, the bracket can be used as is. However, for thinner
interior doors such as a bedroom or closet door, we’ve provided stick-on
silicone bumper/spacers to help remove any excessive gap between the
bracket and the door. When using the bumper/spacers, always determine
rst which side of the door your new Hangin’ Cat Tree will hang from.
NOTE: If the bumper/spacers are necessary, they should be attached to
the inside of the bracket OPPOSITE of the door jamb. See Figure 2 for
CORRECT placement. (Never put the bumper/spacers on the door jamb
side of the bracket as this may prevent the door from properly closing.)
See Figure 3 for INCORRECT placement.
If the bumper/spacers are not needed, simply install the plain brackets
as is to the top of your door. See Figure 4 .
Once the top brackets are installed, slide the remaining 2 brackets onto the
bottom of your door. See Figure 5.
Hold the Hangin’ Cat Tree from its top two straps and hook the clips at the
end of the straps onto the top two brackets. See Figure 6.
Once the Cat Tree is hanging from the top two brackets, hook the bottom
two clips to the lower two brackets. Pull the cinch strap lightly on the right
and left side just enough to slightly tighten the brackets to the underside
of the door. See Figure 7.
Now adjust the top and bottom brackets to the correct width apart so the
Hangin’ Cat Tree hangs straight and is centered on the door. Step back
and adjust the top and/or bottom. Once it’s in straight and in place, rmly
pull down on each cinch strap to secure the Cat Tree to the door. Figure
8 shows how the straps should look once cinched rmly to the door.
The Hangin’ Cat Tree has a space-saving feature. When not in use just fold the
shelves up and hold in place while locating the smaller single strap at the top
right. Pull down on the strap until shelves are secured in the upright position.
Loosen the strap to release the product for use. See Figures 9 and 10.

K&H Limited One Year Warranty
Our warranty is as follows: K&H Pet Products warrants to the original consumer, that this
product will be free of defects and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of
purchase. The manufacturer’s liability hereunder is limited to replacement of the product. This
warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect,
tampering, or other causes not arising from defects in material and workmanship.
To exercise your warranty: If, during the warranty period, your product malfunctions,
return it to the place of purchase with your original purchase receipt. If this cannot be
done, return the product, postage prepaid, to K&H Pet Products, with a dated proof of pur-
chase or original date receipt. A return authorization number can be obtained by calling
(719 ) 591-6950 and must accompany all returns to manufacturer. Please include a note
explaining the problem when returning the product.
