K-9 Pet Friendly Ice Melt is an ice melting alternative when concerned with

the welfare of your furry friends. Its low toxicity makes it safer to use

around the home and workplace where pets may be present and performs

effectively down to -15°F.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1. Apply at a rate of 2-4 oz. (1/4-1/2 cup) per square yard by sprinkling evenly

or by using a spreader

2. Remove any resulting slush and water prior to refreezing

3. Reapply as needed

USE PRECAUTIONS

Over application may cause surface flaking or scaling and increase the occurrence of freeze/thaw cycles. It is

recommended to remove all slush and water resulting from the deicing process to decrease the frequency of freeze/thaw

cycles. This product may cause damage to plants, vegetation, and lawns when it is placed directly on, or very near the

vegetation itself. Vegetation damage is also more likely when deicing products are used excessively.

NOT FOR FOOD OR DRUG USE

FIRST AID: IF IN EYES: Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy

to do. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

IF ON SKIN: Flush skin with water. Seek medical attention if irritation develops or persists.

IF SWALLOWED: Seek medical attention. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel.

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

ADVISORY STATEMENT ON CONCRETE

Granular deicers will not chemically attack concrete or cause harm to properly mixed (air-entrained), poured, finished, and

dried concrete. However, natural freeze/thaw cycles, as well as freeze/thaw cycles caused by deicing material, may cause

damage to poor quality concrete. Deicers should not be used on precast concrete products, brick, exposed aggregate or on any

questionable-quality concrete. DO NOT USE ON CONCRETE LESS THAN 1 YEAR OLD.

STORAGE

Seal container tightly after each use and store upright in a cool, dry area inaccessible to children and domestic animals.

Note: During periods of high humidity or if the product comes in contact with moisture, the contents of

the bag may begin to activate and become difficult to spread.
