DIRECTIONS:
For best results, remove snow prior to application. Spread at
the rate of 2-4 oz. (1/4 - 1/2 cup) per sq. yd. Remove slush
and water to prevent penetration of porous areas and cracks in
the concrete, as continual thawing and freezing action can
cause damage to poor quality concrete.
FIRST AID: For skin contact: Wash skin with soap and
water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
For eye contact: Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes.
Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
If swallowed: Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do
so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to
an unconscious person.
NOTICE: Seller makes no warranty, expressed or implied, as
to the results of the use of this product. Buyer assumes all
risk of use, handling and storing of this product.
PRECAUTION:
K9 will not cause harm to properly mixed (air
entrained), poured, finished, and dried concrete. Do not
use on concrete less than 1 year old. K9 will not
chemically attack concrete. Natural freeze/thaw cycles
as well as freeze/thaw cycles caused by deicing material
may cause damage to poor quality concrete. This product
should not be used on precast concrete steps, precast
masonry walks or steps, brick, exposed aggregate or on
any questionable- quality concrete. This product should
not be overapplied.
Over application may cause surface flaking or scaling
and increase the occurrence of freeze/thaw cycles. It is
recommended to remove all water and slush resulting
from the deicing process as removal will decrease the
frequency of freeze thaw cycles. Correct application
rates should be used when placing the product on the
concrete surface.
