Connection / Installation
Connect the camera to a hub or computer using
a LAN cable.
Use the shielded cable for connections.
䡵 When connecting to a hub
Make use of a straight cable.
䡵 When connecting to a computer
Make use of a Cross Over cable.
Caution:
● However, cross cables cannot be used with
some computer models. When connecting
VN-C20 directly to a computer, make sure to
check the computer's LAN specifications in
advance.
Note:
● Make use of a Category 5 (or higher) cable in
the case of 100BASE-TX.
Connect to a video monitor, etc. using a coaxial
cable.
Note:
● The video output signal is NTSC.

Caution:
● A longer cable extension distance causes
signals to be attenuated, images to
deteriorate and noise to increase.
