Operating JVC's Audio ideo Components
You can operate JVCb audio and video components with this receiver's remote control, since control signals for JVCb
components are preset in the remote control
IMPORTANT:
lb operate JVC's audio components using the supplied remote
control:
• You need to connect JVC's audio components thr,_)ugbthe
COMPU LINK (SYNCHRO) jacks (see page 41 ) in addition m
the connections using cables with RCA Nn plugs {see pages 11 m
• Aim the remote coning directly at the remote sensor on the
receiver.
• If you use the buttons on the t_mntpanel to choose a source, the
remote control will not operate that source. 3b operate a sotrrce
with the remote control, the source must be selected using sotrrce
selection buttons on the remote canto)l.
• 3b operate the target component using the COMPU LINK remote
control system, set the sotrrce name correctly if required. (See
page 210
• Refer also m the manuals supplied with yotrr components.
For RX4!O30VBK:
* VVhen you p_css one of the soffrce .selection
buttons, the remote oparadon mode appears on
the display window fee about two hours.

FMiAM: Alternate between EM and AM.
After pressing FM/AM, you can perfc_ma the t'olIowing operations
on a tl.lner_
1 - 113/0, + 10: Selact a pre_t channel numbar directly.
For channel numbar 5, press 5.
For channel numbar 15, press +10, then 5.
For channel numbar 20, press +10, then 1010.
TUNING UPIDOWN:
Ttme into stations.
FM MaD E: Change the FM reception m_c.

and adjust its level.

BASS BOOST: l'am on o'r off Bass Boost.
Note:
After adjusting sounds, press the corresponding source selection
button to operate your target source by using the 10 keys; otherwise,
t#e 10 keys cannot be used for operating your target source.
After pressing CD, you can peffc_ml the folIowing operations on a
CD player:
I_: St_Laplaying.
I,_<1: Return to the beginning of the ctrrrcnt (or previous)
track.
I_1_: Skip to the beginning of the next track.
I1: Stop playing.
