When the main unit and a TV are connected with a
SCART cable, follow the instructions shown below.
■ IMPORTANT
• Slide the remote control mode
selector to [AUDIO].
1 Turn on the main unit.
• Refer to “Turning on/off the main unit” on
page 13.
2 Press [SETTING] repeatedly to
select “SCART” in the display win-
dow.
3 Press [LEVEL +] or [LEVEL – ]
repeatedly to select the desired
setting in the display window.
• Each time you press [LEVEL +] or [LEVEL – ],
the setting toggles between “SCART: AV”
(audio and video) and “SCART: A” (audio).
- Select “SCART: AV” when the main unit
and TV are connected only with a SCART
cable.
- Select “SCART: A” when the main unit and
TV are connected with a composite video
cable, component video cable or HDMI
cable, in addition to a SCART cable.
NOTE
• When “SCART: A” is selected, operate the con-
nected TV to select the input video signal.
