The following functions can be selected in the Service Mode:
•
GPS-INFO - Test of GPS Function
•
CALIBRATION - Function to delete the calibration or to enter a
new calibration
•
CALIBRATION RIDE - Calibration Journey Display
•
MODULE TEST - Internal Component Test
•
SENSORS - Sensor Function Test
•
SPEECH TEST - Test of language
•
DEMO - Setting of the Demo mode
•
VERSION - The Navigation CD version is displayed
By turning the right rotary control , select the desired entry (upper-
case letters) and press to confirm.
Function test of the GPS antenna (
GPS-INFO)
In the Service Mode, select
GPS-INFO with the right rotary control
and press to confirm.
When functionality and GPS reception are working correctly, the
number of satellites received (i.e.
3), date and time (i.e. 17.12.03
09:57:01) and the type of positioning FIX: currently possible (i.e.
4D) are displayed.
In order to quit the GPS test, press the button. The unit switches
back to the Service Mode.

For successful and fast calibration, a minimum of FIX 2D is
required. A certain amount of time may be required to reach this
value (do not move the vehicle during this period).
