PSM (Preferred Setting Mode) menu
Telephone mute function (Tel)
If a telephone with hands-free operation
is installed, the call may be routed
through the speaker system. This elimi-
nates the need for an additional speaker.
However, the signal leads (AF – Tele-
phone input and Earth – Telephone in-
put) must be connected to the car radio.
X To set, call up PSM menu.
X By pressing multifunction button
, select
Audio Sig. or Mute.

Audio Sig. - Telephone conversa-
tion via car radio
Display setting (Lcd)
The display setting allows you to select
among three different display versions.
• Positive display (
positiv)
• Negative display (
negativ)
• Automatic display (
automatic) -
the display will appear negative or
positive depending on vehicle illumi-
nation.
X For selection, request PSM menu. By
pressing the multifunction button
select either
negativ,
positiv or automatic.
The setting is stored automatically.
Display colour setting (Col)
This setting is used to choose between
two illumination colours.
For selection, request PSM menu. By
pressing the multifunction button
select either
red or yellow.
The setting is stored automatically.
Display brightness (Lum)
With this function, the brightness of the
display can be set.
X To set, call up PSM menu.
X Press the multifunction button.
X With the right rotary control , select
either
8 (light) or 1 (dark).
The setting is stored automatically.
LED setting
This function can be used to switch the
LED function (flashes when the unit is
switched off) on and off.
X To set, call up PSM menu.
X By pressing multifunction button
select either
blinking (LED
On) or
off (LED Off).
The setting is stored automatically.
