To use this camcorder as a player
1 Following the illustration, (墌 pg. 23)
“Connections To A TV Or VCR”, connect the
camcorder and the VCR’s input connectors.
2 Perform steps 1 – 6 (墌 pg. 24).
3 At the point you want to start dubbing, start
recording on the VCR. (Refer to the VCR’s
instruction manual).
4 To stop dubbing, stop recording on the VCR,
then stop playback on the camcorder.
NOTES:
● It is recommended to use the AC Adapter as
the power supply instead of the battery pack.

● To choose whether or not the following displays
appear on the connected TV
• Date/time
Set “DATE/TIME” to “ON” or “OFF”. (墌 pg. 37)
Or, press DISPLAY on the remote control to turn
on/off the date indication.
• Time code
Set “TIME CODE” to “OFF” or “ON”. (墌 pg. 37)
• Indications other than date/time and time code
Set “ON SCREEN” to “OFF”, “LCD” or “LCD/
TV”. (墌 pg. 37)
It is also possible to copy recorded scenes from
the camcorder onto another video unit equipped
with a DV connector. Since a digital signal is
sent, there is little, if any, image or sound
deterioration.

To use this camcorder as a player
1 Make sure all units are turned off.
2 Connect this camcorder to a video unit
equipped with a DV input connector using a DV
cable as shown in the illustration.
3 Start playback on the camcorder. (墌 pg. 22)
4 At the point you want to start dubbing, start
recording on the video unit. (Refer to the video
unit’s instruction manual.)
5 To stop dubbing, stop recording on the video
unit, then stop playback on this camcorder.
