From the JPEG CONTROL display
• During JPEG CONTROL display is shown
1 Makesurethat the black (cursor) bar is in the
left (Group) column.
If it is in the right column, press _ to move it to the
left column.

Movethe barto a desired Groupusing A/T.
On the right column, files in the selected Group are
shown.
When selecting a Group, file 1 is initially selected
(highlighted).
Selecta desiredfile using _/_.
Press_,-.
The slide show starts from the specified file.

Direct selection
• During playback or while stopped
1 PressTITLE/GROUP.
"--" is shown in the Group display area of the
display window.
(Example for the indication of display window)

2 Usethe numeric buttons to specify a desired
Group number.
• To select a number between 1 and 10:
Press the corresponding button for the number.
• To select a number higher than 10:
Use the +10 button.
Examples:
To select 13: +10-_ 3
To select 34: +10 -_ +10 -_ +10 -_ 4
To select 40: +10 -_ +10 -_ +10 -_ 10
Specify the Group number within several seconds
after pressing TITLE/GROUP (i.e. while the display
window shows "--" for the Group number, instead
of the current Group number).
3 Usethe numeric buttons to specifya desired
Tracknumber.
You can specify the Track number according to the
order in the JPEG CONTROL display. You must
specify a Track number within 5 seconds after
carrying out step 2.
The unit starts slide show playback from the
specified Track. If you do not specify a Track
number, the unit starts slide show playback from
the first Track in the Group.
• You can skip a file in the slide show by using I_/_ or
A/T.
• You can select a file in the current group by using the
numeric buttons.
NOTES
• Tostop slide-show playback (to dismissthe picture) in
the middle of the slide-show playback:
Press • or MENU.
The TV screen returns to show the JPEG CONTROL
display.
Pressing I_ resumes slide show playback from the last
picture you opened.
• Tokeep showing a current picture duringthe slide show
PressII or ENTER.
The picture does not changeto the next picture.
PressingI_ resumesthe slide show playback from the
next picture.
• If a blackscreenappears continuouslyin the slide-show
playback:
The file currently played may be non-baseline JPEGfile.
In this case, select a playablefile (a baseline JPEGfile)
again (e.g., pressing • or MENUto openthe JPEG
CONTROL display, etc.)
Note that it may take a long time to select another file.
