Advanced operations
3 Use the numeric buttons (0 to 10) to enter the
desired time.
The specified time is displayed in the pull-down
menu.
"10" button works as "0" and "+10" button is not used with
this function.
You can specify the time in hour/minute/second format for
DVD VIDEO discs, and in minute/second format for Audio
and Video CD/SVCD discs.
4 PressENTER.
The unit starts playback from the specified time.
Example (for DVD VIDEO)
To playback from 2(H):34(M):00(S)
TIME : :
Press "2".
TIME 2 : :
Press "3".
TIME 2 : 3 :
Press "4".
TIME 2:34:__
Press ENTER.

Press ENTER.
You do not have to press "0" to enter the trailing zeros
(for the last two digits in the example above).
When you correct a mistake
Use 4 repeatedly to move back to the digit where you
entered a undesired numeral (the leftmost "-" digit),
and reenter the correct time.
(Example for changing "2:35:" to "2:34:".)

NOTES
When (_ appears onthe TV screen:
The time you haveselected is not containedon the disc,
or the time search function does not work on the disc.
Also note that the time search function does not work
during Video CD/SVCDplayback with the PBCfunction.
Todismissoff the menu bar:
PressON SCREEN.
The time searchfunction cannot be used during
program playback.
Available :
The unit can display the opening scene of each title or
chapter on a DVD VIDEO or each track of a Video CD/
SVCD. You can select a desired scene from those
displayed on the TV screen.
