Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Valve

Removal

WARNING: Do not smoke, carry lighted tobacco or have an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-

related component. Highly flammable mixtures may be present and may be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions

may result in serious personal injury.

working on or near any fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures may be present and may be ignited. Failure to

follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Disconnect the quick release couplings.

Refer to: Quick Release Coupling (310-00A) .

Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm) 4. Disconnect the electrical connector. Disconnect the quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling (310-00A) . Remove the fastener and purge valve. Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm) https://dh.identifix.
