5 Maintenance
Harmful and irritating cleaning agent. Harmful if swallowed.
Irritating to eyes and skin.
T Keep children AWAY.
T Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
T After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of
water. In case of skin irritation, seek medical advice.
T After eye contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water
and seek medical advice.
T If swallowed, rinse mouth immediately and drink large
quantities of water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical
advice immediately and show label.
E JURA milk system cleaner is available from specialized dealers.
Precondition:
‘Please select product:’ is displayed.
 O T Press the P button.
‘Maintenance status(1/7)’
T Press the ‘Clean the milk system’ button.
‘Approximate duration 2 min.’
T Press the ‘Start’ button.
‘Use only original JURA maintenance products!’
T Press the ‘Start’ button again.
‘Cleaning agent for milk system.’
T Pour 8.5 oz (250 ml) of fresh water into a receptacle and add
one capful of milk system cleaner.
T Immerse the milk pipe in the receptacle.
T Turn the setting wheel of the cappuccino frother to the Milk
Foamü or Milkz position.
T Place another receptacle under the cappuccino frother.
T Press the
‘Next’ button.
‘Milk system is being cleaned.’, the cappuccino frother and
the milk pipe are cleaned.
‘Water for cleaning milk system.’
T Rinse the receptacle thoroughly, fill it with 8.5 oz (250 ml) of
fresh water and immerse the milk pipe in the water.
