IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
For your protection, read carefully before proceeding with installation. To be installed by a qualied
electrician. Heavy duty gloves should be worn to protect hands from sharp edges. Protective eye
wear should be worn to prevent injury to eyes.
1. Electric current can cause painful shock, serious injury, or death. For your safety, remember the
following:
• Turn o󰀨 the power supply.
• Ground the xture to avoid potential electrical shocks.
• Do not handle an energized xture.
• Check all electrical connections to be sure they are tight and correct.
2. Specic safety information concerning LED trim.
• Match xture and LED trim based on product labeling.
• Do not remove or insert LED trim when power is on.
• Do not subject LED trim to undue pressure as it may cause LED trim damage.
• Protect operating LED trim from direct contact with water
3. Make sure appropriate trim and rough-in are used. Match labels on both xture and trim.
4. Install and wire xtures per all applicable national and local electrical codes.
5. This product may be installed in either type IC or Non-IC applications.
CAUTION: RISK OF FIRE
Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated 60°c. Consult a qualied electrician before
installation.
