CABLE MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS

FOR CYLINDERS

Step 1: Attach mounting strap

(included) to junction box using

screws (2) and tighten.

For Cable Mounting:

Step 2: Slide strain relief over power cord and compress.

Step 3: Insert power cord through largest hole of junction

box cover and secure in place using strain relief.

Step 4: Make wire connections in junction box. To ensure

proper wiring, see wiring diagrams on pages 3 & 4.

Step 5: Place junction box cover over junction box sliding

mounting strap stud through center hole of cover.

Step 6: Attach “Swivel Coupling” with cable threaded through

center to mounting strap and tighten to secure junction box

cover firmly to ceiling.

Step 7: Remove reveal from top of cylinder.

Step 8: (A) Insert griplock cable adjustor into center hole of

reveal. (B) Insert power cord and secure in place using

strain relief.

Important: If cord length requires adjusting, determine

length, cut cord and strip leads before attaching to reveal.

Step 9: Loosen cable adjustor.

Step 10: Insert cable into adjustor to desired length and

tighten.

Step 11: With cable locked in place to the desired length, cut the excess cable and slide crimp sleeve onto cable and Step 12: Re-attach safety cable to reveal as shown. Step 13: With safety cable attached to reveal, make wiring connections. To ensure proper wiring, see wiring diagrams on pages 3 & 4. Step 14: Attach cylinder housing to reveal by aligning screws to slots in reveal, pushing housing up and twisting slightly. Tighten screws to secure in place.
