Safety information • Make sure that the electrical data on the rating plate agree with your domestic power supply. • Information on the voltage is on the rating plate. • Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket. • Do not use multi-way plugs, connectors and extension cables. There is the risk of fire. • Do not replace or change the mains cable. Contact the service centre. • Make sure not to squash or cause damage to the mains plug (if applicable) and cable behind the appliance.
Safety information 5 • Do not clean the glass door with abrasive cleaning agents or metal scraper. Heat resistant surface of the inner glass can break and shatter. • When the door glass panels are damaged they become weak and can break. You must replace them. Contact the service centre. • Be careful when you remove the door from the appliance. The door is heavy! • Do not clean catalytic enamel (if applicable). Risk of fire • Open the door carefully.

Daily use Switch the oven on Turn the oven functions selector to a oven function. The power indicator comes on. The temperature display shows the suggested temperature for the oven function set. The oven starts to heat up. When the temperature is reached, an acoustic signal sounds. Changing the oven temperature Turn the + / - knob to raise or lower temperature. The setting changes in 5°C steps.
Daily use 9 The oven now continues to heat according to the pre-set oven function and temperature. Now you can put the food in the oven. You can switch on the Rapid heat up function with the oven functions: True fan baking , Conventional and Rotitherm . , Fan Cooking zones With the control knobs for cooking zones you operate the hob that you installed with the oven. For more information about the hob, refer to the hob user manual.
Daily use Oven function Application ROTITHERM To roast larger joints of meat or poultry on one level. Also to gratinate and brown. DUAL GRILL To grill flat food in large quantities and to toast. SINGLE GRILL To grill flat food in the middle of the grill an to toast. DEFROST BASE HEAT PYROLUXE MENU To defrost frozen food. To bake cakes with crispy or crusty bases and to preserve food. For automatic pyrolytic cleaning of the oven. It burns off residual dirt in the oven.
Daily use Telescopic runners - Inserting the Oven Accessories Put the flat baking tray or the deep roasting pan on the telescopic runners. Hook the holes on the edges onto the retaining pins on the telescopic runners. Put the oven shelf on the telescopic runners so that the feet point downwards. The high rim around the oven shelf is an additional device to prevent cookware from slipping. Inserting the oven shelf and deep roasting pan together Put the oven shelf on the deep roasting pan.

Set an oven function and temperature (not necessary for Time of day and Minute Minder). 2. Push the Selection button again and again until the desired function indicator flashes. 3. To set the time for Minute Minder , Duration or End , use the + / - knob. The related function indicator comes on.

Oven automatic cut-out The appliance switches off after some time: • if you do not switch off the appliance. • if you do not change the oven temperature. Helpful hints and tips 19 Roasting Roasting dishes • Use heat-resistant ovenware to roast (please read the instructions of the manufacturer). • Large roasting joints can be roasted directly in the deep roasting pan or on the oven shelf above the deep roasting pan. (If present) • Roast lean meats in a roasting tin with a lid. This well keep the meat more succulent. • All types of meat, that can be browned or have crackling, can be roasted in the roasting tin without the lid.

This can extend the time to defrost very much. • Put the oven shelf in the first shelf level from the bottom.

Thus you can remove dirt more easily and it does not burn on. • Clean stubborn dirt with a special oven cleaner. • Clean all oven accessories (with a soft cloth with warm water and cleaning agent) after each use and let them dry.
Care and cleaning 25 Shelf Support Rails Removing the shelf support rails 1. Pull the front of the shelf support rail away from the side wall. 2. Pull the rear shelf support rail away from the side wall and remove it. 2 1 Installing the shelf support rails Install the shelf support rails in opposite sequence.
Care and cleaning Make sure that the retaining pins on the telescopic shelf runners point to the front. Removing the telescopic runners Remove the telescopic runners in opposite sequence. CAUTION! Do not clean the telescopic runners in the dishwasher. Do not lubricate the telescopic runners. Oven lamp WARNING! There is a danger of electrical shock! Before you change the oven lamp: • Switch off the oven. • Remove the fuses in the fuse box or switch off the circuit breaker.
Care and cleaning 2. Lift up clamping levers (A) on the two door hinges fully. 27 A A 3. Close the oven door until the first position (angle approximately 45°). 4. Hold of the oven door with one hand on each side and pull it away from the oven at an upwards angle. Put the oven door with the outer side down on a soft and level surface to prevent scratches 5. Now you can remove the inner glass panels and clean them. To install the door follow the procedure in reverse.
