4.4 Checking wiring of the intrinsically safe electrical circuit
h Fine-strand lines in ferrules can be inserted up to 1.5 mm

. Single-wire lines in ferrules can be inserted up to 2.5 mm

. After
insertion, the screws are tightened.
h Switch on device and test whether the measured value of your choice (e.g. temperature or pressure) is displayed without
any problems.
h Place the cover cap back in its position and make sure it is securely in place.

Caution:
The cover cap that is removed prior to wiring must be put back into place after wiring is complete so that the catch-
es snap back into place!
This is necessary for the proper operation of the probe in the Ex-area!

All screw terminals in the case must be screwed down with the maximum tightening torque of 0.5 Nm. This does not
apply to needed connections.
