Maintenance/ Operation

STEP 1 . Fie ld strip yo ur marke r.
FIELD STRIP GUIDE
Bolt and Striker Removal
STEP A. EYE PROTECTION:
Make sure e ve ryo ne w ithin rang e (200 yards) is
pro pe rly pro te cte d fro m p aintball impacts.
STEP B. Re mo ve g as supp ly fro m marke r.
STEP C. Make sure co cking bo lt is in the
fo rw ard p o sitio n. Pull trig g e r to re le ase if
ne ce ssary.
STEP D. Re mo ve thre ade d Air-line ho se c o n-
ne cto r and 5 /3 2 he x valve se t scre w.
STEP E. Adjust the 5/32 he x ve locity scre w
inw ard until the screw clears the rece iver bo dy,
Remo ve Q uick Pull Pin, Po w ertube Assembly, co n-
ne cting rod and Bo lt. No te : Use cautio n w he n
re mo ving as all parts are unde r spring te nsio n.

STEP 2. W ith a pair o f ne e dle no se plie rs, g rasp
the ro d and unscre w the co cking kno b w ith a
3/8th so cket driver. Yo u w ill ne e d to mo ve the
spring to the side to avo id damag ing it.
STEP 3 . W ith the co cking kno b scre w
re mo ve d, place the scre w, co c king kno b and
re co cking ho using ite ms so me w he re e lse fo r
future use as the y are no t ne e de d fo r the
adjustab le sto ck asse mbly. Ple ase ke e p in a
se cure place as yo u w ill ne e d the m if yo u
re mo ve the adjustab le sto ck to re turn to the
sto ck co nfig uratio n.
STEP 4 . Slide the adjustable sto ck to the
furthe rs forw ard po sitio n. This w ill e xpo se the
co cking kno b in the back o f the sto ck.
STEP 5 . Line up the co cking ro b o n the adjust-
able sto ck w ith the ro d o n the marker po w e r
tube assembly. The ro d in the sto ck is thre ade d
to scre w o nto the ro d in the po w e r tube
asse mbly. Turn the co cking kno b o n the sto ck
clo ckw ise to tig hten the ro d to g e the r.
NOTE: Add high strength lock tight to
the male threads on the stock cocking
knob rod to prevent loosen during use.

REPLACEMENT
STEP 1 . Fo llo w Ste ps 1 -5 o f Fie ld Strip Guide .
STEP 2 . Re asse mble the Po w e rtube Asse mbly,
co nne cting ro d and Bo lt pe r the e xplo de d
diag ram (Fig ure B) No te : Inspe ct and lubricate
o -ring s and b o lt w ith appro ve d lubricant b e fo re
re assemb ly. Sho uld the strike r o -ring sho w w e ar
o r damag e re place (use JT Re pair kit 08 52-00 )
STEP 3 . Insure airline is clear o f re ce ive r bo dy.
Insert he x key as sho w n in (Fig C) to ho ld sear
do w n during re asse mbly. If yo u do no t have
the he x key the n pull trig g e r 3 time s during
reassembly to seat po w er tube s assembly. Turn
marker upside do w n and re asse mble as sho w n in
(Fig C). No te : Insure valve set screw is re installed
and tig htend till co mple tely seated in valve ho le .

STEP 4 . Re asse mb le Q uick pull pin into
re ce ive r. Che c k valve p lac e me nt, che ck valve
se t scre w (Fig J) installatio n and the n re attach
the airline nut.
STEP 5 . Attach b arre l plug .
STEP 6 . Witho ut air source attached cock and
cycle marker to check for functio n.
STEP 7 . Cock marker to seal valve . Insure
airline nut is co mple tely seated turn clo ckw ise till
tight. The n slow ly attach air source to Bo tto mline
adapto r in o rde r to che ck fo r any air le aks. Back
o ff air source if any leaks are de tected. If a le ak is
de tected, fo llo w the disassembly proce dure ag ain
and the n reassemble.
STEP 8 . Chro no g raph the marke r to 300 fps
o r le ss be fo re any use .
To co ck the marke r, make sure the sto ck in the
furthe rs forw ard po sitio n to e xpo se the co cking
kno b . Afte r the marke r is co cker, adjust the sto ck
to yo ur de sired po sitio n.
