Input the distress ID (MMSI) of the ship in
distress, nature of distress, and the position
and that time on the EDIT menu, if known, and
then touch the [✓ ] button.
The nature of distress is selectable from below.

After entering the distress information, touch
the [CALL] button.
After checking the free channel condition, sends the
drobose call. Incase of the coast station call, wait for the
acknowledgement.

When the acknowledgement is received from
the coast station, the screen as shown at right
is displayed.
 The RX DSC mark flashes and the alarm sounds.
 After touching the [STOP] to silence the alarm, then
start the distress traffic.
