Model SEL – Model Select
The first thing to do when setting up a new model is to select a model memory for it. It is best to
select an unused model memory, however, a memory that already contains data for another
model may be used so long as data for that model is no longer required because any data in that
memory will be lost. This function is also used to select a model that is to be flown after
programming for the model is complete.
Select Model SEL on the SYSTEM Menu to obtain the Model Selection display.

Select
The Select parameter indicates that the display is in the Model Select mode as opposed to
the Copy mode. If Select is highlighted and selected it will change to Copy. Repeated
presses of the rotary selector toggles between Select and Copy.
Model Memory#
Shows the currently selected model memory. Highlighting and selecting this parameter
displays a list of available memories/models that can be selected. The list can be scrolled
up and down using the rotary selector. Scroll until the desired model is highlighted and
then select it by pressing the rotary selector.
Model Type
Shows the model type as set in the Devic.SEL function. It can be ACRO (airplane),
GLID (Sailplane) or HELI (helicopter).
Modulation Type
Shows the modulation type as set in the Devic.SEL function. It can be SPCM (PCM) or
PPM (FM).
Model Name
Shows the model name of the model that is stored in the currently selected model
memory.
