TRANSFER – Transfer a Model to Another XP9303 TX or to a DataSafe Unit
Selecting the TRANSFER function initiates the Transfer display. This function is used to
transfer the contents of the current model memory to another XP9303 transmitter or to a
DataSafe unit attached to a personal computer (PC). It is also used to transfer data TO the 9303
from another 9303 TX or DataSafe unit.
TRIM STEP – Trim Step or Trim Resolution
Selecting the TRIM STEP function brings up the Trim Step display. This function is used to
adjust the resolution of the trim levers and switches. The digital trims may be set from 10 to 100
increments, each side of center, without affecting the total trim travel. It should be set somewhat
coarse for initial flights and then finer for subsequent flights and fine-tuning.
Devic.SEL – Device Select (Flight Mode Activation, Switch Assignments, Dual Rate Switches)
Selecting the Devic.SEL function obtains the Device Selection display. This function is used to
Activate Flight Modes, Change Switch Assignments, Activate/Inhibit Switches, Activate the
Flap and Gyro Systems, and to select Dual Rate switches. This function should be accessed
while setting up a new aircraft to activate Flight Modes, configure switches and to activate the
Flap and Gyro systems as may be required by the aircraft.
Wing Type – Wing Type, V-Tail, Dual Channels Twin Engine/Throttles
Selecting the Wing Type function brings up the Wing Type display. This function is used to
identify the wing type (Normal, Flaperon, Delta), to indicate if the aircraft has a V-Tail
configuration, to assign extra channels to primary flight controls (Aileron, Elevator, Rudder,
Flap) where 2 channels can be used for a primary flight controls, and to enable the Twin Engine
feature to control 2 throttle channels/trims. This function should be accessed during the set up of
a new aircraft.
Each of the functions contained in the SYSTEM Menu are explained below.
INFO-DISP – Main Display
Selecting the INFO-DISP parameter exits the SYSTEM Menu and displays the Main Menu.
The TX will need to be powered-off and powered back on while holding the ENT button to
acquire the SYSTEM Menu again.
