Possible Values for Each Switch
The GEAR and AUX4 switches may have a value of ACT or INH. If set to ACT the
switch is active and will control the channel. If set to INH, the switch is not active and
will not control the channel.
The FLAP channel may be set to ACT, INH or SYS. If set to ACT the switch is active
and will control the channel. If set to INH, the switch is not active and will not control
the channel. If set to SYS., the FLAP switch will control the channel and the FLAP
System is activated in the FUNCTION List, making available a host of FLAP features.
The AUX2 and AUX3 channels may be set to ACT, INH or GYRO. If set to ACT the
switch is active and will control the channel. If set to INH, the switch is not active and
will not control the channel. If set to GYRO, the switch will control the channel and the
GYRO System is activated in the FUNCTION List, making available a host of GYRO
features.
If GEAR, FLAP, AUX2, AUX3, or AUX4 are to be used as a 2
nd
primary flight control
(2
nd
channel for Aile, Elev, Rudd, or FLAP) then inhibit the corresponding switch by
highlighting either ACT, SYS. or GYRO along the bottom line of the display and pressing
the rotary selector until INH appears under the switches that are to be used as a 2
nd
primary flight control channel. Inhibiting a switch causes the channel to appear in the list
of available channels that can be used for Dual control in the Wing TYPE function (see
below).
