REMOVING THE BATTERIES
The device should be dismantled according to the following description in order to properly and
ecologically dispose of all its components.
The mains adaptor cord should be detached from the hair/beard clipper before disposal.
1) Loosen all three screws located on the back of the device with a small Phillips screwdriver.
2) Open the device by separating the two halves of the body.
3) Undo the four fixing screws holding the circuit board with a small Phillips screw driver.
4) Cut all the wires with pliers. - Remove the battery from the circuit board and dispose of it in a
suitable collection point.

Do not use this appliance in the vicinity of bathtubs, showers, basins or other water-
bearing containers.

DISPOSAL
The device (including its removable parts and accessories) must not be disposed of together with
municipal waste at the end of its life, but in compliance with European Directive 2002/96/EC. Since
it must be handled separately from household waste, either carry it to a separately-collected waste
disposal centre for electrical and electronic appliances or give it back to the retailer on purchasing a
new device with the same purpose. Any infringement will be severely prosecuted.
The batteries used in this device must be disposed of in the special bins at the end of their life.
