5. Emulators

5.1 Emulator-Listing

The RetroPie soware includes a variety of emulators for dierent systems. Which systems can be

emulated exactly, where the respecve ROM les have to be copied in each case and which ROM les do

not or only inadequately funcon due to compability, can be found in the extensive documentaon of

RetroPie under the link:

Please note: The emulators snes9x, lr-Genesis-Plus-GX and lr-picodrive are not included in our pre-

installed soware package, because the license of the respecve emulators does not allow an unlimited

release.

However, if you want to use them for private purposes, you can install them later at:

- „Retropie -> RetroPie-Setup -> Manage packages -> main -> ***Emulator Name ***–> Install from

binary“

All other emulators and RetroPie soware are released under the GPLv2 or MIT license. You will nd a

copy of the license text either aached to this soware or in the le system under "/home/pi/License/".
