3) User mode
The iSolder-40 Station offers the user 2 different adjustable modes: Mode 1 and Mode
2, to enter the desired temperature range between 200°C and up-to 420°C.
The default mode will be the Automatic iControl mode (200°C - 420°C).
Make sure that the toggle button is upwards when starting the station, otherwise the
station will enter in the debug mode.
4) Debug mode
To Enter the Debug mode of the iSolder-40 station, which is also known as the
firmware update mode and is used to update the station to the latest firmware version,
make sure to press the toggle button so that its position is hold downwards, connect
the iSolder-40 station to the PC using the USB port and then power the station.
The LED indicator will not Flash any color and will remain dim when it enters the debug
mode.
5) Sleep mode
When the iSolder-40 controller senses no usage for 5 minutes, the iSolder-40 starts the
sleep mode for saving power.
The indicator of this mode is a flashing red led (short on; short off).
To get out from sleep mode and turn to operating mode, move the hand piece from the
holder and wait until the iControl automatically senses and update the status from
Sleep to Operating mode.
