5. Select the corresponding wire size on the selector knob by aligning the selection number/wire size with the selection arrow
on the left side. To rotate the selector knob, remove the spring lock, pull the knob upward, rotate to the position needed,
and release. Make sure the handles of the crimper are not compressed and the turret is released before rotating the
selector knob.
6. Use the chart on the side of the Turret Head to determine which color insert to select on the turret based on the wire and
contact sizes. For example, if you have a wire size of 22 AWG and a size 20 contact, you will need to rotate the red insert
so that it’s aligned with the white mark on the top of the Turret Head.

7. Push down on the Turret Head until you hear a click.
8. Insert the contact into the back of the crimper, then insert the corresponding wire into the contact. Make sure that the
handles of the crimper are not compressed while doing this.
9. Squeeze the handles together until the ratchet releases. The tool will return to it’s fully open position, and the wire will be
crimped. You can then insert the crimped cable into a connector shell or other desired apparatus.
