®
Roof Cleaner and Mildew Stain Remover is a
concentrate that quickly removes black streaks, dirt and
mildew stains from roof shingles. Kills mold and mildew on
tile, slate and metal non-porous roofs. Use Jomax Roof
Cleaner and Mildew Stain Remover on asphalt, wood and
composition roofs. Jomax is not intended for interior use.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
IMPORTANT
This product is for outdoor use only. Test on inconspicuous
area before applying to ensure favorable results. Wear old
clothes and shoes, eye protection and rubber gloves during
use. Do not mix with any other chemicals or cleaners as
hazardous fumes may occur.
PREPARATION
Remove heavy moss growth from the roof prior to
application.
IMPORTANT
Follow manufacturer’s precautions when using bleach. Use
immediately after mixing. The prepared Jomax solution
remains effective for 3 hours after mixing. Do not allow
solution to contact fabrics. Mixture may be applied in areas
adjacent to plants, shrubs and trees.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Shake well before using. Mix in the proper proportions with
bleach and water (80% water, 15% bleach, and 5% Jomax)
according to the label directions and chart below. To ensure
that components are properly mixed, follow mixing chart to
produce the desired quantity of cleaning solution.

Pour water into a tank-type garden sprayer or plastic pail.
Add household bleach (Clorox
®
) to the water. Shake Jomax
Roof Cleaner and Mildew Stain Remover concentrate
thoroughly and then add the concentrate to the solution.
APPLICATION
Test in a small area before using. To reduce the need to
walk on the roof, apply Jomax using an airless sprayer with a
wand extension. A tank garden sprayer can also be used.
Spray the roof surface liberally. Caution: Treated surfaces
become slippery. Avoid walking on roof. Work from a ladder.
Wait 5 minutes. Thoroughly rinse the treated surfaces and
surrounding areas with large amounts of water. Moss and
heavy mildew stains may require a second application.
Spray sensitive ground plants with water before and after
application. Note: Jomax will not remove water run-off stains
caused by metallic flashing or gutters.
CLEAN-UP
Clean sprayer with water and baking soda or non-ammonia
cleaner.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Protect from freezing. Always keep the container tightly
closed and store in a cool dry place at temperatures
between 40-80°F (4-27°C). Dispose of container and
unused contents in accordance with federal, state and local
requirements.
