Sizzling Sausage Grill
RECIPES
SUPER PARTY BRAT HOAGIE
Makes 6 servings.
INGREDIENTS
1 package (19 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE
®
Brats
1 medium sweet red pepper, sliced
1 medium yellow pepper, sliced
1 medium green pepper, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 loaf (1 pound) French bread
6 slices provolone cheese
DIRECTIONS
1. Grill bratwurst on the JOHNSONVILLE
®
Sizzling Sausage Grill
. Cool slightly; cut into ¼-inch slices.
2. In a skillet, sauté peppers and onion in oil until tender; set aside.
3. Slice French bread lengthwise and transfer to a baking sheet. Layer bottom of bread bottom with brats, peppers
mixture and provolone cheese.
4. Place top of bread on hoagie and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until heated through.
Cut hoagie and serve hot.
ITALIAN SAUSAGE CAPRESE SKEWER
Makes 4-6 servings.
INGREDIENTS
1 package (19 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE
®
Italian Sausage
1 pint cherry tomatoes (24 tomatoes)
1 tub (16 ounces) marinated fresh mozzarella balls
1 package (2.5 ounces) fresh basil leaves
24 small wooden skewers or decorative picks
Extra virgin olive oil
Balsamic syrup or balsamic vinegar
Fresh ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
1. Grill Italian sausage on the JOHNSONVILLE

. Cool slightly; cut each link
into 4 or 5 pieces.
2. Assemble skewers alternating the tomato, basil, mozzarella, and sausage.
3. Arrange skewers on a platter, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic syrup.
4. Sprinkle with fresh black pepper.
