Assembly
1. Remove drain body from carton.
2. Attach the two rear wheels to the axle using the axle nuts provided.
3. Attach the two front casters using the bolts and washers provided.
4. Thread the drain tube into the top of the drum.
5. Thread funnel into the top of the drain tube
6. Thread the 3/4” bushing and drain valve into the coupler on the bottom front of the drain.
“POP-UP” Dipstick
To prevent overfilling your oil drain, a “pop-up” dipstick has been installed. When the oil level reaches the maximum
useable level, the dipstick will pop-up to indicate the drain needs to be emptied.
To drain oil from vehicle - Make sure the drain valve is closed. Position the drain under the vehicle and raise the fun-
nel to desired height.
To empty - The Crew Chief is designed to be emptied using either of two methods:
Gravity Drain - position the drain over the in-ground storage tank or storage vessel and open the drain valve.
Suction Pump - insert the suction hose from the oil evacuation system in the 2” port on top of the drain or install a male
coupler (compatible with your system) to drain valve and attach the suction hose using a female quick
coupler
