A—WDS
B—4600 CommandCenter™
C—Mobile Device
Machine control units and sensors capture operation
data. This data is sent over the CAN bus to a wireless
data server (WDS) (A) that is installed on the machine
or available on the 4600 CommandCenter™ (B). From
the WDS, the data is transferred to a mobile device (C)
through a wireless connection. The WDS enables
transmission and reception of Wi-Fi® signals and
creates the wireless connection between the WDS and
mobile device.
