pointiscalibratedwithsufficientspacebetweenthe
machines.

Remainalertandpayattentiontothesurrounding
environment.

Takecontrolofthesteeringwheel,whennecessary,to
avoidfieldhazards,bystanders,equipment,orother
obstacles.

Stopoperationifpoorvisibilityconditionsimpairyour
abilitytooperatethemachineoridentifypeopleor
obstaclesinthemachinepath.

Holdthelatchandpulltheseatbeltacrossthebody.

Insertthelatchintothebuckle.Listenforaclick.
•
Tugontheseatbeltlatchtomakesurethatthebelt
issecurelyfastened.
•
Snugtheseatbeltacrossthehips.
Replaceentireseatbeltifmountinghardware,buckle,
belt,orretractorshowsignsofdamage.
Inspectseatbeltandmountinghardwareatleast
onceayear.Lookforsignsofloosehardwareorbelt
damage,suchascuts,fraying,extremeorunusualwear,

discoloration,orabrasion.Replaceonlywithreplacement
partsapprovedforyourmachine.SeeyourJohnDeere
