Oxford® UltraFine / UltraFine Lite Straight Leg Sling English Introduction The Oxford® UltraFine Straight Leg sling is a divided leg sling offering excellent levels of comfort. Integrated, low-friction rip-stop nylon to the leg sections ensures easier application. Available with or without head support and a choice of material options. Special Sling Orders On occasions, material, dimensional and other changes outside of the standard specification are requested.
English Oxford® UltraFine / UltraFine Lite Straight Leg Sling WARNING - DETACHABLE SLING STRAPS If your sling has detachable straps, it is critical to ensure they are securely attached to the sling prior to lifting a patient. Failure to do so may result in injury to the patient and/or care giver. Feed each individual strap through the colour-coded loop on the sling. Next, feed the strap through the ‘D’ ring and pull it back on itself.

Fitting the Sling from a Lying Position 1 Safely position the client onto the sling, ensuring that the lower edge of the sling body is positioned at the base of the spine. NOTE: For added safety and support, Joerns Healthcare recommend the use of a head support when lifting from the floor.
English Oxford® UltraFine / UltraFine Lite Straight Leg Sling Attachment of the Head Support Strap 1 Head support strap unattached. 3 Feed the end of the head support strap up through the plastic clip as shown. 2 Loop the head support strap through a loop in the shoulder strap as shown. Ideally, the chosen loop on the shoulder strap will be the one in use to ensure a taught/secure fit during use. Blue has been selected in this example. 4 Feed it back through the opposite side of the plastic clip.
