Breakfast
Pleasant Pancakes
Makes about 6-8 pancakes
Ingredients
70g plain flour
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp caster sugar
70ml milk
1 large egg
1 tbsp butter plus extra for greasing
Maple syrup
1. Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a pan.
2. Add flour, baking powder, salt, caster sugar, milk and the egg into the Short Cup
and attach the Cross Blade.
3. Pulse several times until the batter is loose in consistency.
4. Add the melted butter to the batter and stir in.
5. Place a medium to shallow frying pan, greased with butter, over a medium heat.
6. Ladle pancake batter into the pan and cook until bubbles appear all around the
top of the pancake.
7. Flip the pancake with a spatula, and repeat on the other side until golden brown.
Keep pancakes warm by placing into a 120°C heated oven.
8. Serve pancakes stacked on a plate. Spread extra butter on each pancake and
enjoy with maple syrup.
