Using Rapido
Shaking for thick, even results
If you’re making thick sauces, smoothies,
dips and marinades etc., then you may find
some ingredients get trapped at the top of
the cup without being processed by
the blade (fig.5).
To prevent this, lock the cup in place on
Rapido for hands-free operation. Pick up
Rapido and shake the blender just like a
cocktail shaker to help the ingredients move
to the bottom. Release the cup as soon as
you are done.
Sticky ingredients
Some ingredients may get stuck at the top
of the cup during processing. To prevent
this, after processing for a few moments,
take the cup off the Power Base and tap
it on your kitchen counter (fig.6). Return it to
the Power Base to continue processing.
Using the Blender Jug
The Blender Jug works in a similar way to
the cups. Screw the Cross Blade onto the
bottom of the Blender Jug. (fig.7). Place your
ingredients inside and then place on the lid.
Place on the Power Base, making sure to
line-up the tabs with the slots on the base.
When you’re ready to blend, push down
and twist clockwise to blend. The lid has a
pop-top, so at any point you can add extra
ingredients if you need to. When you have
finished, twist anti-clockwise and release to
turn off.
