Cleaning and maintenance
It is important not to use abrasive pads or cleaning agents, including alcohol
and acetone, as this will damage the shaver. Do not use sharp objects to clean
the shaver; gently use the brush provided.
To clean your Atom X Power Shaver:
• Ensure the shaver is OFF
• Remove the clear protective lid
• Remove excessive and protruding hairs from the silver foil using the
brush provided
To clean the inner compartment:
• Pinch down on each side of the shaver head
• Pull the shaver head off
• Clean in and around the compartment, being careful not to damage the
blades by using the brush provided
How to change the silver foil
• Ensure the shaver is OFF
• Remove the clear protective lid
• Pinch down on each side of the shaver head carefully
• Pull the shaver head off
• From the inside of the shaver head, gently detach one side of the silver foil
with a finger nail and pull away slightly
• Gently detach the other side with a finger nail and pull out the old silver foil
• Pinch together the bottoms of the new silver foil and place into the shaver
head lining-up the middle of the foil with the plastic guard bar
• Push the foil into position, clip one side at a time by lightly pushing up on the
foil
• Ensure that the foil is securely in place before placing the shaver head back
onto the main unit
