“ RED COCKED ” INDICATOR:The red cocked indicator device will indicate whether the pistol is cocked and
ready to fire. The red cocked indicator will visibly protrude through the rear of the slide (about 1/8 inch) when the pis-
tol is cocked. See pages 6 & 7 if you need to unload your pistol.
SAFETY: The word FIRE is visible when the pistol is in firing condition. Moving the Safety upwards, the word “SAFE
is visible. When the pistol is in Safe position a cartridge cannot be chambered and the trigger is inoperative.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Never carry with cartridge in the chamber even though the manual safety is activated to the
SAFE position. AT ALL TIMES KEEP THE SAFETY IN THE “SAFE” POSITION UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT.
These safety features do not replace safe gun handling practices. Never point a cocked firearm at anything you do not
intend to shoot. NEVER CARRY A FIREARM IN A LOADED, COCKED CONDITION WITH THE SAFETY OFF UNLESS YOU
ARE READY TO FIRE.
