2 GETTING STARTED
2.1 Attaching Power
Before you connect the power adapter to the power socket check if the voltage is
correct. If you connect the power adapter to power with incorrect voltage this may
result in electrical damage to the adapter and the printer.
(1) Make sure power off the printer and the computer/host.
(2) Insert the AC power cord into the power supply.
(3) Insert the power supply’s power connector into the printer’s power receptacle.
(4) Plug the other end of the power cord into an appropriate AC electric outlet.
(5) Load the media and the ribbon before powering on printer. Wait until power LED is on.

After switching off the printer, wait at least 5 seconds before powering on again.
Otherwise, it may cause damage to the printer.
• Please disconnect the power supply if the printer is idle for a long time.
