ATTENTION:

Before first use, pull out the battery holder from the remote control and remove the plastic inlay

from the compartment, otherwise the remote control will not operate.

Installing and replacing the battery

1. Pull out the battery holder from the remote control unit. (fig. 1)

2. Remove the old battery from the battery holder.

3. Insert a new battery into the battery holder as shown in fig. 2

4. Insert the battery holder into the remote control.

NOTE:

Always replace the battery with the same type CR2025 lithium battery.

• The remote control transmits an invisible directional infrared beam. Be sure to aim the remote

control directly at the infrared sensor of the unit during operation.

• If the sensor has been covered or there is a large object between the remote control and the

player, the sensor will not respond.

• The operating range of the remote control may vary depending on the brightness of ambient

light.

• If the remote is not used for an extended period of time, remove the battery to prevent

possible damage from battery leakage and corrosion.

• If the remote control unit isn’t working even when it is operated near the unit, replace the

battery.
