7.0 Adjustments
7.1 Guide rollers
The two guide rollers at the sides prevent workpiece
from twisting as it moves through the bending rolls.
Adjust these as needed, top and bottom, by turning
the bolts with a wrench. See Figure 7-1.
Note: To achieve a circular profile, guide rollers
must be parallel to machine surface. Otherwise a
spiral profile will occur.

7.2 Pinch rolls
The Pinch Roll Bender is equipped with 6 standard
rolls, and 9 spacers. See Figure 10-1.
Pinch roll configuration can be adjusted to
accommodate different material forms and
thickness. Remove hex nut from end of shaft
(counterclockwise to loosen), and arrange rolls for
desired operation. Use provided spacers as
needed.
See sect. 10.0 for material profiles that can be
accomplished with the provided rolls.
8.0 Operation
8.1 Controls
See Figure 8-1.
Power lamp: Indicates power is flowing to machine.
Start button: Activates the rolls.
Main switch: Turns on power to machine (power
lamp will illuminate).
Speed selector: 1 = 6 RPM, 2 = 12 RPM.
Emergency stop: Located atop foot pedal post.
Push E-stop button for fast shut down of machine.
To re-start machine, rotate E-stop button clockwise
until it disengages.
Foot pedals: Two pedals for instant forward or
reverse motion.

8.2 Operating procedure
1. Install rolls to match desired procedure.
2. Insert material and turn handle to lower middle
roll to desired position (Figure 8-2). Material
should be parallel to ground and contact all
three roll sets. Do not apply excessive pressure
from middle roll.

3. Press foot pedals to send workpiece forward
and backward through the rolls (Figure 8-3).
